BRADD 推出全新專輯《Friendly Singing Neighbor》，這是他離開公司體系、加入 That’s My Shhh 後，首度以獨立身份發行的作品，並由知名製作人 Leo37 擔任執行製作。相較過往較為鮮明的角色設定與概念包裝，本作選擇回到更自然、貼近日常生活的創作狀態，呈現一個更純粹也更真實的 BRADD。

專輯描寫的是日常生活中大大小小的瞬間——回家後的空房間、深夜仍未入睡的思緒，以及在生活節奏裡反覆思考「自己是不是走在對的路上」的那些片刻。情緒不被刻意放大，故事也不追求戲劇化，而是以平實的方式記錄當下的心境。

音樂上延續 BRADD 一貫的 R&B／Hip-Hop 底色，但整體聲響更加內斂，保留更多空間與溫度。製作過程中，與來自香港／紐約的音樂製作人 Elphick Wu（Delf）合作，在熟悉的旋律語彙中加入更細膩且現代的聲音層次，使作品自然融入日常生活的節奏。專輯亦邀請多位經驗豐富的樂手參與演奏，包括曾多次獲得金音獎與金曲獎肯定的 Robot Swing 樂手，以及落日飛車薩克斯風手黃浩庭（Sax Machine）。讓節奏組與旋律聲部之間保有鬆緊變化與呼吸感，在不刻意堆疊的編制中，建立出自然的 groove 與流動感，使聲響層次隨著情緒推進，細微卻有重量。後期混音與母帶則由 Sean M. Sinclair 操刀，為專輯帶來穩定且成熟的整體聽感，讓旋律不強迫聆聽，卻能在不經意的時刻陪伴左右。

BRADD returns with his new album Friendly Singing Neighbor, marking his first independent release since stepping away from the traditional label system and joining That’s My Shhh. Executive produced by LEO37, the project represents a conscious shift in both tone and approach. Moving away from the more defined character-building and conceptual frameworks of his earlier work, BRADD embraces a more natural, unguarded creative state—revealing a version of himself that feels purer, quieter, and more honest.

The album focuses on the small, often overlooked moments of everyday life: the emptiness of a room after returning home, restless thoughts in the middle of the night, and those recurring pauses where one quietly questions whether they are truly on the right path. Rather than amplifying emotion or leaning into dramatic storytelling, Friendly Singing Neighbor documents these feelings with restraint, capturing the mood of the moment as it is.

Sonically, the record builds on BRADD’s established R&B and hip-hop foundation, but with a more restrained and intimate palette. The arrangements leave space to breathe, prioritizing warmth and subtlety over density. Collaborating with Hong Kong– and New York–based producer Elphick Wu (Delf), BRADD introduces refined, contemporary textures into his familiar melodic language, allowing the music to slip effortlessly into the rhythm of daily life.

The album also features performances from a group of seasoned musicians, including members of Robot Swing—frequent recipients of Golden Indie Music Awards and Golden Melody Awards recognition—and Sunset Rollercoaster saxophonist Huang Hao-Ting (Sax Machine). Their contributions give the record a sense of elasticity and air, creating a natural groove and forward motion without excessive layering. As emotions unfold, the sound evolves with quiet weight and nuance. Mixing and mastering were handled by Sean M.

Sinclair, delivering a balanced, mature listening experience—one that never demands attention, yet lingers, offering companionship in unguarded moments.

Friendly Singing Neighbor does not seek to provide definitive answers. Instead, it leaves space—space to be understood, to be felt over time—gently accompanying listeners through the quiet, truthful moments that often define everyday life.
