从two-step beat丶Daft Punk丶Prince丶retro的氛围感，到70丶80年代的电影配乐丶音乐风格，是激发Van Ness创作〈Dance Until We Die〉的养分来源；Van Ness在他「玩出来」的音乐创作中，视角游走於舞曲语汇与华语流行的情感叙事之间，在节奏与旋律中，〈Dance Until We Die〉建立出鲜明而具辨识度的音乐语言。

〈Dance Until We Die〉最早的创作原型写於2023年，Van Ness 与长期合作的制作人 David Lucius King 一起谱曲写词。两人在创作过程中展现出高度默契，各自弹奏丶勾勒画面丶反覆讨论音色，在一次次的感受与交流中，慢慢发展出歌曲的雏形；过程中与团队讨论出需要节奏更强烈的面相，於是歌曲加入更具动感丶舞曲的元素，让整体情绪持续向前推进，也因此促成了深具生命力的〈Dance Until We Die〉诞生。

〈Ur The Reason〉这首歌源自一次Sam Lin（林中宣）抛出的 Demo，Van Ness加强了副歌「You’re the reason⋯⋯」这段旋律及编曲；在反覆交流与共同推进的过程中，又加入了制作人 David Lucius King，最终共同形塑出〈Ur The Reason〉极具记忆点的声音样貌。
